The Chapter Board
and the Chapter members have established a policy for
requesting donations.
Donations are
categorized as either standard or repetitive.
Standard donations are those made during the course
of a Chapter meeting by the members; whereas repetitive
donations are reoccurring (yearly basis) events that are
sponsored by the Chapter.

Is used for dollar values from $50 to $250.
·
Provides some assurance that the individual
involved is truly in need of temporary assistance.
·
Documents efforts to obtain assistance
elsewhere.
·
Is used for dollar values from $300 to $600.
·
Chapter Sponsored Events Form is used for
dollar values from $300 to $600.
·
Identifies both repetitive and holiday
donations.
Donations that
exceed the $250 limitation as described in the Chapter’s
By-laws must be brought before the Board.
Repetitive donations
and events sponsored by the Chapter sponsored events that
exceed the $250 limitation as described in the Chapter’s
By-laws do not have to be presented to the Board prior to a
motion being made to the Members.
Individual
donations have a $1,000 maximum amount the individual can
receive from the Chapter.
However, individuals who require assistance beyond
the $1,000 limitation may appeal to the Board that they are
under a special circumstance and may be granted additional
funds. Approval
of additional funds under a special circumstance requires a
majority vote of both the Board and the members present
and voting to be approved.
The
maximum amount an organization can receive from the Chapter
is $2,500. However
organizations may be granted additional funds.
